Art History Connection Brainstorm

- What movements are you inspired by?
Impressionism. This is an artistic style that was more about the feeling and experience, than an accurate representation. I think the style represents more of what we see. Our eyes have a very shallow depth of field, so nothing but what we are focusing on is in focus. The same goes for this style as the things surrounding the subject are often long visual strokes or purposeful inaccuracies.
The style is also very representative.  When I bring impressionism into my film, its not always the accurate representation of what happened, but certain film sequences are compiled to express the feeling/energy behind it
